Join artist Susan Walsh in this collaborative parent and child ‘String Art’ workshop. String Art has its origins in the ‘curve stitch’ activities invented by Mary Everest Boole, wife of George Boole, at the end of the 19th Century to make mathematical ideas more accessible to children. It was popularised as a decorative craft in the 1960’s. Create your own handmade String Art piece to decorate your home.
Suitable for children 6+.
