SIRIUS Accelerator: Applying for Arts Council Funding for Artists and Curators

SIRIUS is organising a workshop to assist artists and curators with their preparation of applications to the Arts Council, particularly the Project Award. The session provides an overview of the funding landscape in Ireland and offers tools to showcase a practitioner’s profile and core concerns of work, present an idea and set of activities, construct feasible budgets and prepare supporting documentation. The workshop is led by SIRIUS Director Miguel Amado.

SIRIUS Accelerator is a professional development programme for artists based in Cork County and Ireland. It consists of workshops and presentations on themes such as fundraising, curation, writing and production. It is led by SIRIUS’ members of staff and guest speakers.
