Workshop: Creative Photography With Claire Ryan
Wednesdays: 25 Sep – 13 Nov 7-9pm
This series of 8 workshops is for beginners or those who are more experienced who want to gain a greater understanding of the camera and use it creatively to tell their own story through photographs. The workshops will cover camera basics, reading photographs, genres of photography and project creation. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their own work for discussion and feedback.
What you need for class: A charged DSLR, bridge camera or high-end compact camera/camera with manual function, notebook and pen.
Claire Ryan studied photography at St John’s Central College, Cork, before going on to receive a BA (Hons) degree with first class honours in Photography from IADT Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. She has exhibited both internationally and nationally and her work is held in public collections such as the OPW and numerous private collections. She lives and works in Cork.
