Local Know-How: Creative Enquiry Artist Residency - Colette Lewis
24th May - 13th Dec 2019
Project runs until December 2019
LOCAL KNOW-HOW is a Creative Enquiry Artist Residency with artist Colette Lewis, interested in ‘re-learning’ the local traditional skills and knowledge to make, repair, reuse, forage, hunt or grow from older generations living in the Cobh and Great Island area.
This local form of wisdom once taught families and communities how to be resourceful, often born out of necessity. Today this ‘know-how wisdom’ potentially holds important value and renewed purpose to recover a more sustainable way of living.
If you or someone you know in your family or community has this local know-how and would like to contribute to this project, please get in contact with Colette:
