The Cobh Animation Team, which has travelled internationally to present to historical, active age and school groups, depicts the stories of the women of Cobh harbor, those that passed through and those that never made it to shore, in the first part of the twentieth century.

Cobh has a rich maritime history, from the glory days of the liners to tragedies of both Titanic and Lusitania. The Team, through costume and storytelling, will bring alive that history in costumes inspired by the era. Real stories about real women; many of which were overshadowed by the weight of historical events. The Team also consider the roles of local women in World War 1 and the days and weeks before the 1916 Rising.
