Ortús Chamber Music Festival Concert

Sirius Arts Centre will once again be the much-loved venue for the final concert of the 2018 Ortús Chamber Music festival which runs from February 23-25^th 2018.

Artistic Directors Mairéad Hickey, violin, and Sinéad O’Halloran, cello, will be joined at 3pm on Sunday 25th February by the best of Irish chamber musicians, Fiona Kelly, Cian Ó Dúill and Brendan Garde.  A special highlight of the 2018 festival ensemble will be cellists Aoife Nic Athlaoich and Dutch Ella van Poucke (Holland)

The programme will include Mozart’s Flute Quartet in C major, the Argentinian composer,  Alberto Ginastera’s Impresiones de la Puna, Gidon Klein’s String Trio along with Boccherini’s Flute Quintet no. 5 in G major.
