James J. Clarke is a musician from County Meath. As a former member of the band The Ambience Affair and Divan, he has been releasing critically acclaimed records and touring extensively for over a decade. His music is a tasteful mix of indie and folk. His debut album, Hard Work, was written and recorded at home while living alone during COVID-19, and deals with the loss of a parent and broader themes of solitude and anxiety.
