Evelyn Kallansee & Declan Sinnott

Declan Sinnott is a big name in the Irish music scene. He gained international success producing 6 albums with Mary Black, being her producer, guitarist, and musical director. He then worked with Christy Moore for 20 years. Evelyn Kallansee was born on the tropical island of Curaçao, grew up in the Netherlands, and now lives in Co. Kerry, Ireland. She sang in musicals like Les Misérables and for famous Dutch singers and international stars, like Johnny Logan, Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), and Jocelyn Brown.

Evelyn and Dec started working together in the Winter of 2020 after he heard her singing backing vocals in his studio. Since then they have written and recorded together, releasing their newest album ‘Make for Joy’ in February 2024. "Make For Joy" was album of the week on RTÉ Radio 1 in the week beginning March 1st. At SIRIUS, they present an evening of uplifting songs from their newest album in singer-songwriter style with a touch of folk/popular music.
