Entr’acte is a newly formed quartet featuring the artists, and long-time collaborators, John Godfrey, Irene Murphy, Mick O’Shea, and Karen Power, all known as ‘sound seekers’. They are coming together to listen and respond inside of Karen Power’s installation wondrous worlds within/without: interspecies gossip (2024), currently on view at SIRIUS.

 

Audiences are encouraged to meander through a diverse range of sounds as they walk around the performers, investigating the sources of these sounds and how they are combined live. This presentation unveil the quartet’s unique and immersive conversation with Power’s work.
