Saturday 23 July 7.30pm till late
Sirius Arts Centre is a multi-disciplinary arts organisation that is housed in a beautiful Italiante building designed by Anthony Salvin in 1854 to house the Royal Cork Yacht Club - the oldest in the world. Salvin was best known for his restoration work on Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. This is the only example of his work in Ireland.
Sirius receives very little in the way of funding for the upkeep of this magnificent heritage building. This event will help to raise much needed funds for this purpose. Tickets cost €35 which includes a cocktail on arrival, dinner (bar-b-que and buffet by Comida), music and happenings into the wee hours. The line-up for the evening includes performance artist Aine Phillips, film screenings from artist Natasha Bourke, music from the Robert Carrazza & Alan Pentony Jazz Duo, singer-songwriter and local legend Ger Wolfe and the prolific Laurie Shaw, followed by tunes from DJ Fiasco.
Food by Comida, cocktails from Raise the Bar. There will also be an opportunity to win some very special raffle prizes which include dinner for two at Café Paradiso, a tour of Cork Harbour with Whale of a Time, a trip to Spike Island, a year pass for all music events at Sirius Arts Centre plus lots more.
