One Here Now, the Brian O'Doherty / Patrick Ireland Project 2018/19
*** The call for submissions for 2020 is now open ***
Sirius Arts Centre is interested in working with contemporary artists and curators, both emerging and established, Irish and international. Sirius also has a long history of presenting a wide range of interdisciplinary contemporary art and is currently especially interested in working with artists through a highly collaborative process and in the dialogue between artists, curators, communities and audiences.
Submissions are now open for the next exhibition programme (January to December 2020) and will be accepted until Friday 17 May 2019 at 5pm (GMT).
Artists and curators are chosen for exhibitions and projects in one of two ways - by invitation and by open submission. It is estimated that there will be a small number of slots for solo or group projects in 2020 that will be chosen from the open submission process.
Please read the following information before you apply for the open submission:
Applications are considered for both solo and group projects.
The term and dates of a project will be agreed between the artist(s) and the Director of Sirius Arts Centre.
Sirius Arts Centre offers remuneration to artists exhibiting in accordance with the Arts Council guidelines. However, given the changes in funding streams for the arts in Ireland, it is recommended that, if accepted - artists apply to their own Arts Councils and local authorities to source additional funding towards travel, transportation and production costs.
There is no fee to apply for an exhibition.
